Privacy

Privacy, in plain words

A Forever Page holds something personal. Here is what we keep, why, and what we never do with it.

What we keep

When you make a Forever Page or order a print, we keep what you give us: your first names, your email, your city, and the photos, videos and words you add. When someone leaves a memory, we keep their name, how they knew your pet and what they wrote. When a clinic asks for cards, we keep the clinic’s name, the contact’s name and email, and the mailing address for the pack.

What it is for

Making the page and the print, and emailing you about them. That is all.

What we never do

We never use a family’s photos or words anywhere else. We never sell or share anything you give us. We never list a page or send anyone to it. A page appears in The Meadow only when the family turns that on, and they can turn it off any time.

Who can see a page

A Forever Page is hidden from search engines and is not listed anywhere unless its family lists it in The Meadow. Its address is the pet’s name, city and years, so anyone who has the address, or who knows those three things, can open it. Photos are stored under random names, and the location details a phone adds to a photo are removed when it is uploaded. Every memory waits for the family before it appears.

Taking a page down

Write to support@scanvaspets.com and it is gone that day.

Payment

Stripe handles payment. We never see card numbers.

Candles and memories

Candles and memories are counted per page only. A small cookie remembers that a browser lit a candle today, and the family link sets a cookie so the page knows the family when they come back.
